About Me
Hi, I’m Aidana Zhumabekova, an instructional designer, developer, and UX/UI design specialist with a passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences.
My professional journey began as an Interpreter, working with English, Russian, and Kazakh language pairs. Alongside interpreting, I dedicated my time to teaching English to K-12 school children, where I developed a deep interest in using digital platforms to make learning engaging and effective.
This passion inspired me to pursue a degree in Educational Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During my time at UNC, I interned at People Powered, where I contributed to setting up a Learning Management System for a Climate Democracy Accelerator.
Today, I work as a Learning Programs Fellow at People Powered, where I oversee open courses and manage the LMS to deliver impactful learning experiences for a global audience.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and programming. I am always on the lookout for creative ways to solve problems and make education more accessible.
